What does my membership or sponsorship pay for?

The purpose of this association is to utilize collective action to realize a bigger picture for Downtown Leesburg. By working together on advocacy and marketing, we will have the ability to achieve what individual members cannot accomplish on their own. Membership is more than just having a presence on this resource website; it is about realizing a bigger picture for Downtown Leesburg.

Collectively investing through membership & sponsorships:

DESTINATION

We will have the ability to create marketing materials & events that promote the downtown as a destination which will help our current businesses.

INVESTMENT

We will have the ability to create marketing materials that promote the downtown as an investment opportunity for new businesses and companies to move and invest here

PARTNERSHIP

  • We will have the ability to offer private investment partnership opportunities with the City of Leesburg for needed improvements or enhancements in the downtown area

Four Ways to Become a Member

Annual Membership in the Downtown Leesburg Business Association for Businesses. Cost: $100.00 annually

Details about Business Membership:

  • A For-Profit entity located or conducting its primary business within the Downtown Leesburg Commercial Area+
  • Can submit information about the registered business for listing for a single location
  • Receives invitations to downtown discussion meetings
  • Receives invitations to downtown membership meetings
  • Receives invitations to join a working committee

Annual Membership in the Downtown Leesburg Business Association for Residents of the Downtown Leesburg Commercial Area. Cost: $25.00 annually

Details about Resident Membership

  • An individual who currently lives within the Downtown Leesburg Commercial Area++
  • Allowed only when individual does not own any part of a non-member business within the area
  • Receives invitations to downtown discussion meetings
  • Receives invitations to downtown membership meetings
  • Receives invitations to join working committees

Non-Profit Membership [drop down from Membership navigation] 

Annual Membership in the Downtown Leesburg Business Association for Non-Profits. Cost: $75.00 annually

Details about Non-Profit Membership:

  • A Non-Profit entity located or conducting its primary business within the Downtown Leesburg Commercial Area++
  • Can submit information about the registered nonprofit for listing for a single location
  • Receives invitations to downtown discussion meetings
  • Receives invitations to downtown membership meetings
  • Receives invitations to join working committees

Annual Membership in the Downtown Leesburg Business Association for Building Owners. Cost: $100.00 annually

Details about Building Owner Membership

  • An individual or business that owns a single or multiple building(s) within the Downtown Leesburg Commercial Area++
  • Can submit residential and/or commercial listings for buildings located within the Downtown Leesburg Commercial Area
  • Cannot submit listing information for other commercial entities (businesses or non-profits) within building(s)
  • Receives invitations to downtown discussion meetings
  • Receives invitations to downtown membership meetings
  • Receives invitations to join working committees

The mission of the Downtown Leesburg Business Association is to foster awareness of the diversity of Leesburg's historic downtown and to promote the success of individual businesses through publicity, creative marketing, and exciting public events designed to attract new and repeat visitors.
